Intake points and intake point controls – Safe and controlled gas intake

The industrial gas network’s intake points are the points of use where gas is introduced in a safe and controlled manner. The gas pressure and/or flow is controlled by the point-of-intake regulators, ensuring that the gas is delivered to the process or equipment at exactly the right values. They are essential components in any professional industrial gas network where accurate and reliable gas control is required.

Typical characteristics of point-of-use controllers:

  • Pressure regulator: reduces the pressure in the network to the desired working pressure.
  • Flow regulator: limits and controls the gas flow rate as required.
  • Pressure indicator: displays the working pressure or inlet pressure for monitoring purposes.
  • Check valve and backflow preventer: prevents dangerous backflow and flame flashback.

Pitch controllers are widely used in metalworking, laboratories, chemical industry, maintenance and production applications.

Transferable admission points for field use

FGWE also supplies mobile extraction point units that enable safe gas extraction at construction sites such as shipyards, construction sites and maintenance sites. The portable solution provides flexibility and saves time, especially in changing and challenging working environments.
